“I joined Harriers around 15 years ago following advice from a friend who had been a Harrier for a number of years. I wanted to improve fitness and times. I turned up somewhat apprehensive but was immediately welcomed and taken into the fold.

I always say I should have joined the club much earlier than I did. I quickly got involved in the busy Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday pack runs from the club which helped strength and fitness. Representing the club wearing the red vest in road, cross country or trail races are always proud moments.

There is a buzz of excitement connected to the club, from the junior section to the seniors all being coached and encouraged to achieve their running aims and ambitions. I have always enjoyed being a member of the club from the first day to the present and I’m proud to be ‘A Harrier‘."
